Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton blindsided fans with divorce announcement on Monday, but maybe there was a sign to their heartbreak.
Lambert had her heart on her sleeve when she got emotional during her concert performance on Saturday in Wyoming, notes E! News. Concertgoers noticed that the singer was very somber, so somber that she cried during one of her songs.
The emotional moment was captured on video by a fan, where the country singer appears to not be wearing her wedding ring.
Lambert can be seen standing on stage listening to her fans sing her hit song “The House That Built Me.” The singer subtly tries to conceal her tears, but more begin to fall as she takes in the heartwarming moment with her fans.
Shelton filed for divorce after four years of marriage with Lambert. The former couple released an official statement following their heartbreaking announcement saying, “This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
