The new Miss USA was crowned in Baton Rouge on Sunday evening, making Miss Oklahoma, Olivia Jordan, the winner. But the pageant didn’t end without some embarrassing flubs from Miss Rhode Island, Anea Garcia and Miss Nevada, Brittany McGowan.

The ladies, who made it to the top 5, unfortunately slipped up when they were required to answer questions.

Miss Rhode Island was asked, “Recently, comedian Jerry Seinfeld spoke out about political correctness in our culture. Do you think political correctness is hurting or helping this country and why?”

Garcia was visibly nervous, starting with “That’s a very good question,” adding, “I think that it’s a balance of both. We definitely need…I’m sorry, may you please repeat the question once more?”

She was never able to recover and her 30 seconds was up before she could try to salvage her answer.

Miss Nevada was then asked how we can improve race relations in the U.S. but she just couldn’t get an answer out and even awkwardly laughed and smiled to cover it up.

“What I would do to improve race relations in the U.S. is get more races grouped together and be able to be with each other in a...in a non - let’s see…” she tried to say. “I think what we need to do is bring..ah.”

Miss USA aired on Reelz due to the backlash from Donald Trump's comments on immigrants.
