The cast of American Horror Story: Hotel is getting bigger and bigger, and we now have our latest addition to the cast.
According to TV Line, Naomi Campbell has been cast in the fifth season of American Horror Story. Campbell will be playing a fashion editor who "pays the ultimate price for her critiques." She is currently signed on for a multi-episode arc and will be facing off against Lady Gaga's character.
Naomi Campbell is a model and actress known recently for her recurring role on Empire. She'll be joining an increasingly crowded cast for American Horror Story's fifth season including Matt Bomer, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Chloë Sevigny, Wes Bentley, Emma Roberts and Cheyenne Jackson. Lily Rabe also just joined the cast earlier this week, as we previously reported.
Executive producer Ryan Murphy has said that this season will be much more dark and horror focused than previous years. “It’s… a little bloodier and grislier I think than anything that we’ve done before," he told TV Line. "It’s straight horror this year.”
Hotel will also feature characters from previous seasons of the show, as we previously reported. Don't expect any of Jessica Lange's characters to be back, though, as this will be the first season without her involvement.
American Horror Story: Hotel airs on FX this October.
