What’s the best type of donut to have after brutally murdering someone? A chocolate glaze of course!

That’s among one of the great new scenes in a teaser for FX’s Fargo, which is returning for a second season in September. Although it runs 30 seconds, just like the previous ones, it packs in plenty of scenes that should wind up in the final product. Again, we see chaos entering a peaceful community, with a fantastic musical score to back it up.

Fargo’s second season is set during the 1970s, decades before the acclaimed first season. It centers on the Sioux Falls case that Lou Solverson mentioned throughout that season, with Patrick Wilson playing the younger version of the character. Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti, Ted Danson, Nick Offerman and Bruce Campbell also star in the new series.

Fargo is written by Noah Hawley and won the Emmy for Outstanding Miniseries last year. Billy Bob Thornton, who isn’t appearing in season one, also won a Golden Globe. The show also won the Golden Globe for Best Mini-Series/TV movie.

Teasers for the show were also released last week, introducing us to the characters. Those scenes probably aren’t going to be seen in the series though. Another teaser merely introduced us to the environment.
