Nick Gordon’s mother, Michele Gordon, is speaking out after Bobbi Kristina Brown’s passing on Sunday. She opened up about the scope of her son's devastation in the wake of her hospitalization in January and her subsequent death.

Gordon hasn’t spoken out himself since Brown’s death, and he’s reportedly on suicide watch.

"The passing of Bobbi Kristina is devastating to Nick and our family," she said in a statement to Us Weekly.

"Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they've been apart,” she continued. “Nick and our family are in mourning, and we ask that you respect our privacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time."

We saw how poorly Gordon was dealing with Brown being in a coma in March during his disastrous Dr. Phil interview. He checked into rehab as soon as it was over and left at the end of April. He was seen in Florida for the first time since completing his stint in rehab in June.
