Saturday Night Live vet Norm Macdonald doesn’t have the highest opinion of Seth Meyers.

In an interview with HuffPost Live Tuesday, Macdonald discussed the SNL 40th anniversary special and Eddie Murphy’s decision not to play Bill Cosby. He also took a few jabs at Seth Meyers.
Macdonald praised Murphy’s decision not to play Cosby in a sketch. Macdonald said, “I thought it was very admirable, because it would have got a huge, huge laugh. I thought it was kind of cool that he doesn’t need laughter.”
After that, things quickly turned sour towards Meyers. The host probed Macdonald about a comment made by Meyers in February stating that he would not have shared the behind the scenes Murphy details publicly. Macdonald went on to mock, “I always think, what would Seth Meyers do?” The host asked Macdonald his opinion on Meyers’ show to which Macdonald responded, “It’s not something I would do.”

Macdonald will be a judge on NBC’s Last Comic Standing which airs tonight. Check out TheCelebrityCafe.com interview with last season’s winner, Rod Man.
