First it was Johnny Depp who was in the hot seat with Australian authorities for bringing the couple’s dogs, Pistol and Boo, Down Under, and now it’s his wife, Amber Heard.

Heard was charged with two counts of illegally importing the dogs and one count of producing a false document and will have to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court in Queensland on Sept. 7.

As we previously reported, Depp brought the dogs to Australia in May via private jet while he was shooting Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tale and his wife joined him.

Barnaby Joyce, Australia’s Minister of Agriculture threatened to euthanize them if they didn’t leave the country in 48 hours, which they did. But he’s sill trying to prosecute Depp for the offense, which is not declaring the animals to customs.

Australia’s strict biosecurity laws aim to keep diseases out of the country, which dogs could potentially carry. All dogs need to be tested before entering the country.

If Heard is found guilty, she faces up to 11 years in prison and $82,500 in fines.
