A tunnel in Marin County, where Robin Williams was raised and spent most of his life, will be named after the late comedian.

The tunnel links the Golden Gate Bridge to Marin County and was widely known as the Waldo Tunnel, although it never had an official name, notes SFGate.com. The tunnel is also known as the “Rainbow Tunnel” thanks to the rainbow arches around the entrance.

Assemblyman Marc Levine introduced the bill after a Change.org petition to have the tunnel named for the Good Will Hunting star gained attention. After being approved by the California State Assembly, the state Senate voted in favor of it last week. Gov. Jerry Brown does not have to sign the measure.

Williams committed suicide in August 2014, although another film he made, Boulevard , comes out this month. His widow, Susan Schneider, said he was battling early Parkinson’s disease.

The tabloid RadarOnline claims that it obtained new details from Williams’ autopsy, which suggests that he might have had Diffuse Lewy Body dementia instead of Parkinson’s.
