Ronda Rousey recieved the Best Fighter award at the ESPY awards. Not only is she proud of the win, but also because she beat fighter Floyd Mayweather.
Rousey won despite Maywather's major victory in May against Manny Pacquiao.
Mayweather was asked in another interview in 2014 whether he could beat Rousey in a fight. Mayweather responded saying that he "didn't know who he is."
The fighter is also known to have his name publicized among headlines of domestic violence and arrests.
Rousey has some guts. During an interview with ESPN, she decided to call out the boxer.
"I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once," Rousey told ESPN. "I'd like to see him pretend not to know who I am now."
Other ESPY awards have been already announced.
NBA MVP and Golden State Warriors player Stephen Curry won the ESPY for best NBA Player. Victor Espinoza, the jockey in American Thoroughbred horse racing who also won the Triple Crown this year, won the Best Jockey ESPY.
Actor Joel McHale hosted the ESPYS this year to celebrate the top sport celebrities from 2015.
