It’s the moment X-Men fans have all been waiting for.
Exclusive photos from the upcoming film X-Men: Apocalypse were released, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, giving a behind the scenes look at the highly anticipated sequel.
Stars Olivia Munn, Michael Fassbender and Oscar Issac are featured on the magazine’s cover, giving readers a first look at their characters. Donned in their mutant best, Munn, who plays Psylocke, Fassbender, who plays Magneto, and Issac, who plays Apcoalypse, look fierce and ready for action in their costumes.
In one of the photos we see Storm, played by Alexandra Shipp, Apocalypse and Psylocke appearing cool, calm and collected despite a massive fire in the background. We also get to Fassbender’s character Magneto back in action, but as his human alter ego. The star is wearing a red flannel and appears very pensive.
Fans also get to see newcomer Evan Peters in action, who plays Quicksilver in the film. He is pictured with co-star Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Mystique. The two are dressed in matching uniforms and look like they having an important conversation.
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 2016.
