Stephen Colbert is really itching to host a talk show again. Since The Late Show won’t premiere until September, Colbert decided to travel to Monroe, Michigan to take over a public access show.

Colbert took over the show Only In Monroe and the full episode is online. You can watch Colbert paint his nails with the women who regularly host the show, get into a local Yelp argument and drink alcohol on air. The show culminates with an interview with Marshall Mathers, better known as Eminem. During the interview, Colbert pretends not to know him very well and asks him to sing Bob Seger songs.

He showed a clip from Southpaw, which Eminem co-produced, with the rapper’s song playing in the background.

And in case you think that this was all just an elaborate parody by Colbert, it wasn’t. Only In Monroe is a real show produced for Monroe Public Access Cable Television.

Colbert will finally be back on national television on Sept. 8.
