Warner Bros. has been keeping busy at San Diego Comic Con this year. A full trailer has dropped for the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and that wasn't the only surprise for fans who made it inside the famous Hall H. Margot Robbie, Will Smith and many members of the upcoming Suicide Squad attended the Warner Bros. presentation.
Notably absent was Jared Leto, who will be playing the Joker in Squad.
This was the first time that Smith, who plays Deadshot in the upcoming film, and Robbie (playing Harley Quinn) had attended Comic Con. Also in attendance was David Ayer, the director of Suicide Squad, The Hollywood Reporter added.
Ayer wasn't afraid to talk about the rivalry between Marvel and D.C. Comics. "Who’s got the best bad guys out there? DC Comics. I’m not trying to start no East Coast West Coast feud with Marvel Comics but someone has got to say the truth," said Ayer.
Ayer and the cast brought along footage of the upcoming film, which will be released on August 5, 2016.
