San Diego Comic Con has come to a close but the discussion of all things movie related has just begun. Warner Bros. released two trailers during their panel on Saturday, the first being a look at their upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and closing out the panel was a trailer for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad.

Suicide Squad is not a traditional good versus evil story; in fact, this story is about bad versus evil. In the comics, this group of villains comes together under the directorship of Amanda Waller. The group works out of Belle Reve Penitentiary and is charged with tracking down some of the D.C. Universe’s most notorious villains.

The trailer was shown at Comic Con and quickly leaked online. Fans wanted to get a glimpse into this world, which feels completely different than that of Marvel or Fox. Fans couldn’t wait to see how Jared Leto looked as The Joker or Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Early reactions seem to indicate that, in this case, bad equals very good.

Now that the trailer has been released to the public, in all of its three-minute glory, let’s explore every detail, including that Batman cameo…

Suicide Squad will be released on August 5, 2016.
