Taylor Swift has received some negative attention from musicians recently due to her fight with both Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry. Now, Grizzly Bear singer Edward Droste has become more open about expressing his hatred towards Swift.
According to ET Online, Droste tweeted about Swift back in February. He didn’t say her name in the tweet because he was fearful of Swift’s influence in the music industry.
The tweet, which has now been deleted, said, “Met a celebrity I always speculated was terribly calculated and mean, and they exceeded all my expectations of rudeness and arrogance. HATE.”
After he posted the message, he begged his followers not to @ the person he was talking about because they have the “capacity and desire to destroy.”
On Sunday, Droste gathered up the courage to admit that he was in fact referring to Swift when he tweeted about gossip report titled, “Mean Girl Taylor’s Friendship Rules!”
Droste then went on to retweet a Billboard article that talked about how Swift was suing her old guitar teacher.
And he didn’t stop there.
His final attack on Swift was when he retweeted a fan’s message that read, “I want to just put out here that I’ve always known Taylor Swift was immensely evil as she is powerful.”
Droste did not specify what exactly Swift did to earn such hatred, but now this the third celebrity to have accused her of being a bad person.
Swift has not responded to the hate, but people are eager to see what happens next.
