Don’t ruin perfectly fine pastries, or endure the wrath of Joel McHale.
The Community star and host of The Soup joked about Grande’s “I hate America” comments on Friday’s episode of the E! series. McHale began by making a Bill Cosby joke, “She Bill Cosby-ed a donut?” the host whispered. He went on to take a jab at Subway spokesman Jared Fogle, who is currently under investigation for child pornography, before bringing attention back to the pop star.
McHale passionately defended the pastries Grande licked when he ranted, “Well, Ariana, I hate your ponytail but you don’t see me ruining pastries over it,” as he proceeded to pull a pastry out from behind his back.
Grande has been a staple in the news lately because of comments she made at a donut shop. Grande was also caught licking donuts that were later sold to customers. The singer apologized and then made a video about her apology. She was criticized by celebrities such as Rob Lowe for her initial apology’s insincerity. Grande is currently on her North American tour titled The Honeymoon Tour.
