Jennifer Lawrence has never held back when talking about her weight and Hollywood’s narrow-minded perception of how women should look on the big screen. So when she was asked if she thinks actresses will have more opportunities if they run against Hollywood’s views, she had no problem answering.

“I would hope that there are more opportunities for women, but sometimes it’s hard,” she said, at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, according to FOX News. “I was just having a conversation with somebody about the struggles of weight in the industry, because they know that it’s something I talk nonstop about.”

She said that the person asked whether or not Hollywood really did have a weight issue, since most of their top stars look healthy and not underweight.

“I said, ‘Yeah, because once you get to a certain place [in your career], people will hire you and they want you to be in their movie, so they don’t care,” she said, according to Vulture. “It’s more about the struggle for the actors and actresses who haven’t made it to a certain place.”

Lawrence added that she is not one of those actresses anymore, since she is “not really in a place where I can complain or speak to not getting enough roles, because I’m very lucky to have a lot of opportunities.”

Lawrence is currently at Comic-Con promoting both The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 and X-Men Apocalypse.

“But I would be interested to hear someone who is not in two franchises answer that question,” she added.

After the Mockingjay panel, Lawrence told reporters about her eating habits.

“I did eat a panini and some cheese and crackers and a wrap,” she said. “I tried to grab French fries, too, and this stern lady swatted my hand away and said, ‘No!’ I thought, ‘Wow, I haven’t been talked to like that since the first movie came out.’”

Never let Hollywood change you, J-Law.
