Everyone seems to have a different opinion on how well True Detective season two is shaping up thus far, but there's little doubt so far of the new season of fellow anthology series Fargo disappointing any fans — particularly if they live up to these first couple teasers.

Following the first, pitch-perfect teaser released last month, these new, equally brief new promos give fans their first looks at Kirsten Dunst, Ted Danson and Patrick Wilson coming onto the scene.

Dunst gets her own first look in the one, washing what initially appears to be blood from her hands in more ways than one at a North Dakota beauty salon. Danson and Wilson, meanwhile, get their moment in the second, enjoying a brief break stopped on the road parallel but in opposite directions to one another, where we get our introductions to Danson's snowy beard and his and Wilson's rural accents.

Just like the first teases seen with Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman last year, it's highly unlikely this footage is going to air during the show. These are purely to establish the tone and wry atmosphere of both the characters and new season, and give viewers a glimpse inside the '70s-based town they'll stop to visit on FX this September. Both slivers of footage come courtesy of EW.

Like American Horror Story and True Detective, this will not feature the same characters introduced before (save for Lou Solverson, played by a different actor), but takes place in the same universe as the first season and the Coen brothers' film. In addition to the stars featured here, Jean Smart, Jesse Plemons, Nick Offerman, Brad Garrett, Kieran Culkin, Bokeem Woodbine, Jeffrey Donovan, Bruce Campbell and Christin Milioti also round out the cast.
