We join the house on day 71 in the middle of the HOH competition. We are going to find out who will be the new HOH and which jury member will be returning to the game. I really hope that Johnny Mac comes back in the game. This is another endurance competition, which are my personal favorites. I would like to see James pick up this HOH. I was sad to see James fall off. I’m scared that Vanessa is not having a problem with this competition. It seems she is just about everybody’s target except ‘Austin’s Angels.’
Liz drops next which means it is the jury against Vanessa. Becky and Shelli fall off and this means Johnny Mac is back in the game! Johnny Mac and Vanessa are the final two. Johnny Mac says that he and Vanessa have apparently solved their issues. Johnny Mac feels safe and Vanessa is the new HOH. I would love it if she flipped the script in the house and shook things up. Austin and the twins are very upset that Johnny Mac is back. James and Meg are nervous that Vanessa is in power and aren’t sure what she is thinking. Steve and Johnny Mac are feeling safe this week. I’m honestly not sure what Vanessa is thinking right now.
I’m liking this idea of a Johnny Mac/Vanessa alliance. Vanessa is finally realizing that she isn’t a top priority of Austin and the twins, so she will make this side alliance. We see that before the eviction, Steve and Vanessa worked out their issues. It seems that the safe target would be James, but I would love to see somebody split up Austin and the twins.
We find out that Meg is the “grandma” of the house. Interesting. She is floating through the game. We take a trip up to Vanessa’s HOH room. It’s nice to see them take a break from the game. It doesn’t take long to get right back to the game. I know that Vanessa is not going to let Austin and the twins manipulate her, so it looks like Meg and James might be going up this week. Austin and the twins obviously want out Johnny Mac. Vanessa continues her dominance of this game by now convincing them to take out James.
It looks like Austin and Liz’s relationship might be going to the next level. They have a “date” where Austin tells her that he wants to see her outside of this house. Austin asks Liz to be his girlfriend…and she says yes. They worked through their rough patch. I’m so happy for them? #LiztinOffical is trending I’m sure.
We move past that awkwardness and then see the twins are on a mission to prank Austin. Austin and Liz start some making out when Julia scares them by hiding in the closet and then jumps on them. I admit, that was pretty funny. It wasn’t as good as #CaptainCamo. Vanessa chats with Meg and James, trying to find out any useful information. Meg and James present him nothing. They then start arguing about a potential pawn. That was weird. They gave her no information. It is almost certain that one or both of them is going on the block.
James remembers that he made a deal with Vanessa about being safe if she wins HOH. They decide not to confront her about it. I’m thinking that means they are going to be nominated. Vanessa calls the house inside for the Nomination Ceremony. Meg and James are nominated for eviction. Vanessa claims it is a game move, nothing personal. It seems that another duo might be split up. I’m just happy that Johnny Mac is off the block.
Who will win the Power of Veto? Will it be used to save Meg or James from eviction?
