Julie Chen welcomes us to tonight’s live eviction. Becky and John are on the chopping block and tonight one of them is going home. I like both of them, so this is a tough spot for me.

Day 61 in the house right after the POV ceremony. I would have gained so much respect for Liz if she would have backdoored Vanessa. Vanessa is the most dangerous player in this game. Johnny Mac and Becky are feeling down being nominated and the best thing Johnny Mac can do is to lay low. I will admit watching James and Meg’s friendship is very awesome. It appears that James has some feelings for Meg. James goes on the prank war and wraps Steve’s stuff in saran wrap. James is absolutely hilarious and keeps the humor in the house.

Johnny Mac feels safe this week and discusses forming an alliance with Steve. Johnny Mac suggests siding with Austin and the twins. They go talk with the twins and propose this idea. The twins are onboard and want to form an alliance with them. They are all united in the idea of taking out Vanessa. Becky gives her best pitch to try and save herself. She promises that if she stays, she will target Vanessa. I don’t think Austin and the twins are going for it, but they at least act the part. I’m predicting that Becky is going out the front door.

Julie talks with the HG and we revisit James scaring several of the HG. James is a truly funny guy. I admit i also like his cat beanie that he wears. I’m shocked Meg didn’t get a concussion. She hit her head very hard. We then get a glimpse of Steve’s home life. His parents discuss that he has always been a loner but we find out that his hometown has rallied behind him. That is pretty awesome to see.

We visit the Jury House where Shelli is hanging out waiting to see who joins her next. Jackie comes in the door next. They watch the video of what happened leading to Jackie’s eviction. They both hope Vanessa is the next person to come to jury. They will be sad to know that it is not going to be her.

It is time for the Nomination Ceremony. Becky and Johnny Mac give their last speeches to try and sway the HG. Becky’s last minute speech is not enough to keep her in the house as she is evicted by a 6-0 vote. Becky is the ninth person to walk out of the Big Brother house and sits down to talk with Julie. We are down to the final eight. I’m just waiting to see if they announce that the jury members will have a chance to get back in the game. Becky feels that she might have been too direct in her game, especially the idea of directly targeting Vanessa.

A random note…watching the Zingbot’s classic burns was great. An awesome throwback and I hope he returns this season.

It is time for the HOH Competition to crown the next HOH. It is another endurance competition! They will run six different races and at the end of each one, a HG will be eliminated. They have to buzz in on the other side of the track after they see the word “Go.” It is tricky because if they go too early they can be eliminated. They must focus very closely. I would love to do this competition. Meg is the first one eliminated. Shocker. I would seriously love this competition.

The HOH competition is getting ready to continue as Julie is informing us about the upcoming week. We find out that next Thursday the current jury will get a shot to re-enter the game. I knew it was coming.

I’m hoping that Johnny Mac or James can pull out the win for HOH. We will find out this Sunday night!
