Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross welcomed their daughter, Jagger Snow Ross, on Thursday.
The couple announced the baby's name on Friday night in an Instagram post, reading, "We are overjoyed about the birth of our previous baby girl, Jagger Snow Ross."
As we reported, Simpson and Ross announced that they were expecting a baby in December. They later revealed to People that they were expecting a girl.
Simpson's first child, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, was born in 2008. Bronx's father, Pete Wentz, is the bassist for rock band Fall Out Boy.
"I think that no matter what, with every child it's different. It feels new to me too, and it's been six years, so I'm like, 'Here we go! We gotta learn how to get the swaddle on again!'" Simpson told People.
Simpson, who is pop singer Jessica Simpson's younger sister, is best known for her 2004 album Autobiography, which was the focus of her MTV show, The Ashlee Simpson Show. She hasn't released a new album since 2008.
Ross is an actor and the son of singer Diana Ross.
