More public figures have come forward to admit that they had accounts at the affair arranging site Ashley Madison, including a Real Housewives of New York star and an elected Florida prosecutor.
On Monday, The Daily Mail posted information from the hacked Ashley Madison data that showed Josh Taekman had been using the site since June 2011. Taekman, whose wife is RHONY star Kristen Taekman, told E! News that he did have an account and apologized for it.
“I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family. We both look forward to moving past this and getting on with our lives,” Taekman said.
Meanwhile in Florida, Jess Ashton, the elected state attorney for Orange and Osceola counties, admitted during a press conference Sunday that he did use the site. Ashton, who gained attention as the prosecutor during the Casey Anthony murder trial in 2011, said it was a “bad, childish, stupid error.”
“While I indulged my curiosity about the site, it never went beyond that,” Ashton said, reports The Orlando Sentinel. “These were incredibly stupid choices.”
It has also been revealed that former 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar and YouTube personality Sam Radar both used Ashley Madison.
