Blake Shelton gave his first interview on Monday post his public, quickie divorce from fellow country singer Miranda Lambert.
The Voice coach gave his first interview as a bachelor to Entertainment Tonight.
Shelton, alongside Brad Paisley, had a red cup in his hand and said it was filled with some vodka and ice.
"I thought I'd go ahead and get it started early," the 39-year-old joked. "It's been one of those weeks."
He then assured fans that he was doing “well” since the divorce.
Shelton and Lambert announced on July 20 that they were splitting up after four years of marriage.
“This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately." a joint statement read. "We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
As previously reported, Shelton filed for divorce on July 6 in Oklahoma. The couple had a prenuptial agreement and the divorce was finalized on July 20.
