Britney Spears’ ex-boyfriend, Charlie Ebersol, has revealed he was once approached to be the star of ABC’s The Bachelor but he didn’t even consider it for a second.
Ebersol, who split from the “Pretty Girls” singer in June, revealed this in Us Weekly’s latest 25 Things You Don't Know About Me list.
“They asked me to do The Bachelor a bunch of years ago and it was the most awkward phone call I have ever been a part of in my entire life," he explained. “There's no way in hell I'm ever doing it." Ebersol also said he doesn’t watch the show.
Meanwhile, the network has officially announced Ben Higgins will be the next Bachelor star, confirming it during Monday’s After Paradise episode.
Although it seemed ABC was picking between Ben H. and Nick Viall, Ben was always the rumored frontrunner.
