Cara Delevingne is opening up about switching from the world of modeling to the big screen after her first starring role in Paper Towns.
Even though she recently said her modeling career isn’t over, she sang a different tune in a new interview.
She has told THR, “I’m not stopping modeling, I’m not retiring. I’m just doing film for the time being” but now tells The Times she’s "not doing fashion work any more."
“It didn't make me grow at all as a human being," she explained. "And I kind of forgot how young I was. I felt so old."
After shooting to fame in 2011 for a Burberry campaign she did with actor Eddie Redmayne, she said she was “constantly on edge,” adding, it “wasn’t a good time.”
“It is a mental thing as well because if you hate yourself and your body and the way you look, it just gets worse and worse,” she said.
