One emotional fan was spotted by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, who brought the man up to sing with him for the song “My Hero” during a concert.
Loudwire reported that Grohl has had plenty of moments, termed “Good Guy Grohl,” in which he did something extra special for his fans. On Sunday night, he did this for one man, who appeared to be drunk and crying.
Alternative Nation reported that Grohl spoke to him and told him not to cry before telling him they were going to sing together, “man to man, prison style.” He also added in his speech to get the fan to join in, “Don’t make me cry, because I promised I wouldn’t do this.”
The fan, whose name is reportedly Anthony, sat down as Grohl sang to him. They even sang together during the chorus.
The performance for this particular fan moment was in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
During the song, Anthony apparently continued to cry and Grohl joked that whoever was with him should make sure he wasn’t the one to drive home. The two men also shared some hugs.
