The MTV Video Music Awards will take place on Sunday night, with Miley Cyrus hosting the show. More performers were added to the line-up on Tuesday, including a highly anticipated performance from Demi Lovato.
In addition to Lovato and the previously announced The Weeknd; Pharrell, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, A$AP Rocky, Twenty One Pilots and Tori Kelly will also take the stage this weekend.
People reports it will be the first VMA performance for both Twenty One Pilots and Tori Kelly, and Kelly will be attending the event for the first time as well.
Twenty One Pilots are newcomers to the VMAs, but they have previously performed at the MTV Movie Awards.
As we previously reported, Kanye West will receive the 2015 Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Previous recipients include Beyonce, Madonna, Peter Gabriel, Beastie Boys, Guns N’ Roses, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.
The nominees for the biggest award of the night, Video of the Year, are Beyonce’s “7/11”; Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”; Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk”; Taylor Swift & Kendrick Lamar’s “Bad Blood”; and Lamar’s “Alright.”
