Republican frontrunner Donald Trump continued to voice his thoughts on a variety of topics Wednesday and said that he would scare the leader of the Catholic Church with ISIS.

In an Interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, Trump offered his opinion of Pope Francis.

Cuomo brought up the pontiff and asked Trump if he would like to meet him.

“Well, I'm Protestant, but I have great respect for the pope," Trump said. "I like the pope — he's becoming very political, but I like him. He seems like a good guy."

Then Cuomo gave a scenario asking the real-estate mogul how he would respond if the pope told him that capitalism can be “toxic” and “corrupt.”

“I’d say ISIS wants to get you,” Trump responded. “You know that ISIS wants to go in and take over the Vatican? You have heard that. You know, that’s a dream of theirs, to go into Italy.”

Trump was likely referring to how earlier this year Vatican City police and security services said that a threat from ISIS exists.

“I’m gonna have to scare the Pope because it’s the only thing,” Trump added. “The Pope, I hope, can only be scared by God. But the truth is — you know, if you look at what’s going on — they better hope that capitalism works, because it’s the only thing we have right now. And it’s a great thing when it works properly.”
