Back in September of last year, the 25-year-old actress made her debut as a Goodwill Ambassador for U.N. Women. She launched her HeForShe campaign for gender equality with an inspiring speech, which has over one million views on YouTube. She said her role as a Goodwill Ambassador has given her a sense of purpose.

"Part of me relaxed after I took on that position, it gave me a sense of belonging and purpose." Watson told Vogue. "Everything clicked into place, in a way that it hadn't before. I understood what I'm here to do and knew where to channel all this energy that has been coming at me. I now feel this sense of peace. People say that I'm different since I did it."

Since ending her ten year run as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, Watson has studied at Oxford University and graduated from Brown University. She has also continued with her acting career, starring in films such as The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Bling Ring, the upcoming film Regression, and the highly anticipated live action Beauty and the Beast in which she will play Belle.

Although Watson has been praised for her acting, earning the Trailblazer Award for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, she is not always confident about her acting.

"It's something I've really wrestled with. I've gone back and I've quizzed my parents," Watson said since she has acted since she was nine. "When I was younger, I just did it. I just acted. It was just there. So now when I receive recognition for my acting, I feel incredibly uncomfortable. I tend to turn in on myself. I feel like an imposter… It was just something I did."
