Kate Mara and Michael B. Jordan were subjected to some awkward interview questions while promoting Fantastic Four in Atlanta.
They appeared on the Rock 100.5 Morning Show, where its host Steven J. Rickman or Southside Steve, asked them what he referred to as an “obvious” question.
“Am I missing something? You're white and you're black. How does that happen?" he asked, mentioning the fact that they play brother and sister in the film, E! Online reports.
Jordan replied to the best of his ability, telling Rickman, “They could be raised as brother and sister," adding, "There's a whole bunch of family dynamics that could be without the 'obvious adoption.'"
The interview then took another turn when Rickman just couldn’t get off the subject of Mara cutting her hair short. It eventually got so bad that her publicist had to jump in and cut him off. Rickman’s co-host even admitted it was "creeping me out” that he couldn’t let it go.
Rickman then moved on to her toes, telling her “I'm a toe guy. Your toes are fine."
He took to Twitter after the interview to say it was the “3rd most awkward moment” of his life.
