Harry Connick Jr.’s daughter, Georgia Connick, has been arrested for allegedly providing alcohol to minors during a party at her parents home this past weekend.
She had a party at the family’s New Canaan, Connecticut home, but her parents – Connick Jr. and Jill Goodacre – weren’t home at the time.
NBC reports Georgia, 19, was charged with permitting minors to possess alcohol and procuring alcohol for minors.
A neighbor called the cops around 1am to report underage drinking and when cops arrived on the scene, the teens were reportedly running from the house and into the woods. While inside, they found empty beer cans.
She told police she had intended to have a small get together with friends but people she did not invite started to show up.
“This is a private matter which we are dealing with as a family," Connick Jr. told People. "We have no further comments. Thank you for understanding."
Georgia is due in court on Sept. 2.
