Channing Tatum's supergirl is coming back to television in the upcoming CBS drama Supergirl.

E! News confirmed that Jenna Dewan-Tatum will be a substantial character, appearing in the upcoming show.

Her character will be Lucy Lane, younger sister to Lois. According to the report, Lucy Lane is just as "brash, funny, and beautiful" as her older sister. She's also "strong, smart, and successful." Tatum's character coming to town to right a previous wrong. Just like in the popular comics, Lucy has history with photographer Jimmy Olsen, played by Mehcad Brooks, which is explained throughout the season.

The show will focus around Superman's cousin Kara, played by Melissa Benoist. Kara has been hiding her superhuman powers since arriving on Earth 12 years ago, after she escaped Krypton. Now, she's decided to use her powers and gets enlisted in a super-secret agency that helps protect the world.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum's television career ended last after Lifetime cancelled Witches of East-End after only two season in 2014. Since, the star made appearances on American Horror Story: Asylum and The Playboy Club.

Supergirl premieres Monday, October 26 on CBS.
