Supermodel Karlie Kloss turns 23 today, Aug. 3.
The American fashion model, Taylor Swift's best friend, cake lover, and former Victoria's Secret Angel has a surprise for us. The 23-year-old posted an adorable video of her sharing 23 things she has learned throughout her life so far.
"If you have free time, Facetime your family," she starts off. "Hard work pays off," she continues. "Not everyone's going to like you, and that's OK," she mentions.
In the video, she also made herself a Funfetti birthday cake. Earlier, she posted the teaser on her Instagram, and now the full video is on her YouTube channel.
"So normally, I bake really healthy- no butter, no eggs," Kloss says as she pulls out her finished cake. "Today, I'm making a Funfetti cake. And you know what? It's my birthday. So I'm going to enjoy it."
Kloss also received several warm wishes from Seventeen Magazine and Ivan Bart.
Bart, who is the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of IMG Models, said to Kloss, "You are a beacon to a new generation leading by example."
