Kevin Bacon releases a parody PSA video that calls out Hollywood for having more female nudity scenes than male nudity scenes in media. Bacon believes that this is unfair and that changes need to be made.

The video appeared one day ago on Mashable, where Bacon explained his frustration with the limited amount of male nudity onscreen.

“In so many films and TV shows we see gratuitous female nudity and that’s not OK…well it’s ok, but it’s not fair,” begins Bacon.

Bacon says that it is time to free the bacon, which spoofs the women’s movement to free the nipple.

Free the nipple has become especially popular this summer due to Chrissy Teigen’s actions on Instagram when she attempted to post a topless picture of herself, but it was taken down.

Bacon took this concept and wants it to be used to let men show their “wieners, balls, and butt” on the TV.

He calls out Game of Thrones and Fifty Shades of Grey for not letting the actors appear fully naked.

“Sore subject…but The Following didn’t have a single shot of my penis and now it’s cancelled. Surprise, surprise.”

The actor ends the video by asking supporters to use the hashtag #FreeTheBacon and tweet a picture of their genitals, but that is shut down when the cameraman tells him that it isn’t allowed.

Although Bacon faces many obstacles, he promises to keep fighting for gender equality.
