The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards were last night, which actually did include the distribution of awards amid the crazy performances and Miley Cyrus’ hosting antics. Taylor Swift was queen of the night, even beating Beyonce Knowles for major awards. Kanye West also picked up the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

Swift and Kendrick Lamar’s “Bad Blood” won Video of the Year, while Swift also won Best Female Video for “Blank Space.”

Best Male Video went to Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk,” but Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” won Best Rock Video.

The Best Hip-Hop Video Moonman went to Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda.”

Big Sean & Kanye West’s “One Man Can Change The World” won Best Video with a Social Message. Beyonce’s “7/11” won Best Editing and Snoop Dogg’s “So Many Pros” took home Best Art Direction.

Skrillex, Diplo and Justin Bieber’s “Where Are U Now” won Best Visual Effects. Best Cinematography went to Flying Lotus & Lamar’s “Never Catch Me.” Lamar’s “Alright” also won Best Art Direction. Fetty Wap took home the Artist to Watch Award.

As MTV previously announced, West received the Video Vanguard Award for his body of work. West gave Swift a hug as he picked up his award and the crowd continued to chant his name.
