Patrick Wilson, the star of season two of FX's hit miniseries Fargo, appeared on Entertainment Weekly Radio to talk about his new movie Zipper, while also providing some thoughts on season two of Fargo.
After the critical and commercial success of season one, Fargo was renewed.
Season two takes place in 1979 in South Dakota and Minnesota and focuses on a young Lou Solverson (Lucas). Solverson is played by Keith Carradine in season 1, set in 2006. His performance as the retired cop turned diner owner leaves big shoes for Lucas to fill. He spoke about that in his interview.
In the interview, when trying to draw a comparison for his character, he references No Country for Old Men's Sheriff Ed Tom Bell played by Tommy Lee Jones.
Like in season one, there will be many characters who will all surely have their own storylines and episodes. According to the teasers it seems like it involves a murdered judge and a crime family. Oh yeah, and Bruce Campbell is playing Ronald Reagan.
Season two of Fargo starts October 12.
