Pierce Brosnan was stopped in Vermot’s Burlington International Airport for reportedly carrying a knife in his carry-on bag.
The former James Bond star was questioned by the TSA for having a 10-inch hunting knife with him on Sunday, which is 5-inches folded.
Lieutenant Shawn Burke confirmed to Sky News that the issue was resolved and no charges were filed as a result. He was then able to carry on to his destination.
Brosnan was traveling from Vermont to Detroit when this incident occurred, MailOnline reports. He was traveling with his youngest son with wife Keely Shaye Smith; 14-year-old Paris, who's the youngest of Brosnan's five children.
In a video taken of the incident, he was overheard telling his son, “I can't believe they're doing this” and appeared “furious.”
The TSA has banned all passengers from traveling with knives, except for plastic or rounded knives, and it’s up to the agent to either confiscate it or get the police involved.
