Chelsea O’Donnell, Rosie O’Donnell’s oldest daughter, has been found, the comedian tweeted. O’Donnell announced earlier today that Chelsea had been missing since Tuesday, Aug. 11.
As previously reported, O’Donnell wrote on her website that police had been searching for the 17-year-old in Rockland County, New York since Sunday. The posting was particularly concerning, since O’Donnell wrote that her daughter stopped taking her medication and needed medical attention.
O’Donnell also posted a picture of Chelsea on Twitter and a photo of her support dog, named bear.
After O’Donnell’s post went viral for hours this afternoon, O’Donnell revealed on Twitter that Chelsea had been found and was in police custody. The former The View co-host thanked everyone for their help.
O’Donnell did not reveal further details.
Chelsea is the oldest of the three children O’Donnell shares with her ex-wife, Kelli Carpenter. O’Donnell also recently adopted daughter Dakota with Michelle Rounds.
