Sandra Lee has experienced a bump on the road to recovery after undergoing surgery for a double mastectomy in May.
Lee had been released from the hospital at the end of that month and has been recovering at her home she shares with her boyfriend, Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
“There was a setback [on Tuesday night] due to what may be an infection post-mastectomy," a rep for Lee told ABC News. "But Sandra is her ever-fighting self."
Lee documented her recovery on social media following the surgery, saying she was in pain from losing 15 pounds in just a couple of days.
She revealed her decision to get a double mastectomy on Good Morning America in May after being diagnosed with breast cancer in March.
Her condition, DCIS, or ductal carcinoma in situ, is usually treated with a lumpectomy then radiation but she opted for a double mastectomy instead. “I never want to go through this again,” she said.
