The summer of 2015 has turned out to be the summer of celebrity breakups. There’s no more summer loving for plenty of couples that we really thought were going to make it, or that we just hoped would.
A few splits we saw coming, but some, like the one between Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog, were so shocking and really had us bummed out. After all, if a couple who was together for 40 years didn’t having staying power in Hollywood, does anyone?
Piggy and Kermit released a statement on Aug. 4, saying that their breakup was amicable. Kermit has since moved on to a new love named Denise.
Other celebrity breakups have gotten pretty ugly, pretty quickly and launched infidelity rumors. One split even gave us a nannygate scandal.
