Norton is highly regarded as one of the best actors in Hollywood. He is known for being serious about his work. This has helped him to three Academy Award nominations.

In 1997 he won a Golden Globe for Supporting Actor in his debut film role for Primal Fear.

Despite his fame Norton has mostly managed to remain out of the spotlight. He has tended to avoid big budget films, except for The Incredible Hulk, which didn't end smoothly for him.

Edward Norton has created great characters and made memorable scenes. Even when he makes a rare bad film his performance stands out. With some of his movies you could take ten scenes from them and fill this list. That would be easy.

Make Me Ugly!

25th Hour is Spike Lee's most underrated film. Norton plays a drug dealer who is going to prison for seven-years the next day and is spending his last free one with his friends, girlfriend, and father. Through flashbacks we see how he met his girlfriend, and how he began to disappoint his friends and father by descending into a life of crime.

IKEA

Another scene from Fight Club, this demented scene shows the Narrator letting go of his phony cubicle persona once and for all. Tyler has finally had the desired effect.

American History X Speech

The scene that gets the most attention in the film is when Derek kills the men who are trying to steal his car. However this scene shows Derek's passion for his cause. Although everything about him is despicable, the film wants you to see him as a leader.
