Valerie Harper is denying earlier reports that she fell into a coma after being hospitalized.

In a Facebook post, Harper wrote, "My dear friends and fans! As always, thank you for your amazing support. I am happy to report I am not, nor have I been, in a coma."

As we previously reported, Harper was rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious on Wednesday night before a performance of Nice Work If You Can Get It in Oqunquit, Maine.

In 2013, Harper revealed that she is battling terminal brain cancer, according to People. As a result, the actress takes strong medication, which she blamed for Wednesday's scare.

"As anyone who has taken strong medication knows, it doesn't always agree with you, even with me as this experience proves," she wrote. "I am confronting these hurdles with my usual enthusiasm and love of life."

Harper is best known for her role as Rhoda on the 1970s sitcom The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
