Wiz Khalifa was allegedly arrested at LAX on Saturday afternoon because he refused to get off his hoverboard while inside the airport.
The "See You Again" singer took to social media following the incident. "Haven't been slammed and cuffed in a while. That was fun," wrote Khalifa.
He also posted videos of his arrest on Instagram along with a picture that was taken. The video shows three officers holding Khalifa down. They can be heard telling Khalifa to "stop resisting." The rapper insists that he isn't resisting. He continued explaining the situation on Twitter by writing, "All because I didn't want to ditch the technology everyone will be using in the next six months. Do what you want kids."
The officers in the video were custom agents, an LAX police spokesperson confirmed. No additional comment regarding the incident has been released. It is unclear with Khalifa was formerly charged with anything. There are currently no records of him being booked into the Los Angeles jail system.
Khalifa was on flight coming home following two performances in France and Finland. Earlier in the week he was seen on his hoverboard taking pictures while being abroad.
