Day 72 in the Big Brother house and Meg and James have just been nominated for eviction. Meg is obviously upset she is nominated. James is focused and ready to go for the POV this week. Vanessa made the move that she thinks will keep the “blood off her hands.” Meg and James accept the harsh reality that one of them is most likely going home this week. Vanessa explains to Meg/James why she nominated them. This veto is crucial. I like James and want to see him stay this week.
If James wins the POV, Vanessa is completely screwed. She has had a part in EVERY eviction this season. I’m truly amazed they have left her in this game. Vanessa, Meg and James are obviously playing in this critical POV. They are joined by Julia, Liz and Austin. This is the worst case for Meg/James. It is the best case for Vanessa. I’m really pulling for James to win this thing.
James talks with Meg and Johnny Mac about the night his daughter was born. He admits that it was a bit of a surprise. I respect him even more, since he is playing for his daughter. It is time for this very important POV competition. It is set up like a gameshow. The HG each enter the house separately and hide their veto cards. You must find your opponents veto cards within two minutes. The person whose veto card is not found after five rounds wins the Power of Veto. I like Meg’s hiding spot. I don’t like Austin’s spot. #CaptainCamo hides his under the rug, which I think is excellent. Julia’s spot is not bad. Liz hides her veto card in the pizza box. Terrible. Vanessa is also an average spot.
This is the fun part. We now get to watch the HG search through the house. Meg is up first. I’m just thinking how this house is going to be a wreck after this competition. Meg was unsuccessful in finding a card. Austin basically destroys the house so nobody finds a card. James is going crazy in the kitchen. James doesn’t find a veto card either. I’m not sure who is going to find a card. Julia makes the group 0 for 4. Liz also strikes out while Vanessa finds the first veto card which belongs to Liz. Round 2 begins with Austin, Liz, and James not finding one. Julia finds one during Round 2. I’m pretty sure she found Vanessa’s card.
Round 3 sees Meg find the next veto card. Only two veto cards remain in the house. This is an interesting competition because the strategy is different for everybody. Vanessa came extremely close to finding James’ veto card. James finds the veto card in Round 4. We are at the last round. The critical round. Vanessa finds a card during Round 5. It is now time to see whose veto card is still hidden. The first three cards eliminate Austin and the twins. Meg is out next and it is down to either Austin or James for the POV. Austin is the last person eliminated which means James wins the Power of Veto!!! James is safe this week! Vanessa is now scrambling on who the replacement nominee is going to be.
The Big Brother house looks like a bomb exploded inside. James is going to try and make a deal with Vanessa to keep Meg safe for the week. James is wearing the POV proudly this week. I love it. I like James’ attitude of going right after Vanessa next week. Naturally, Austin runs upstairs and reports to Vanessa. They now must come up with the best scenario for Austin’s Angels. She presents the option of putting up Julia as a pawn. Austin/Liz are bigger targets. Vanessa obviously doesn’t reveal to them that she has a side deal with Johnny Mac.
James goes to make his pitch to Vanessa about Meg’s safety. It blows up because Vanessa thinks James is personally insulting her by saying she is “playing the game too hard.” This just seems like another typical Vanessa move. I like James’ attitude. I pray he wins the HOH this week.
It is time for the Nomination Ceremony. Who is going to be sitting up there with Meg? James uses the POV to save himself this week. It is time for Vanessa’s replacement nominee. Vanessa calls it a game move by nominating Julia next to Meg. This is the first time one of the twins have been been nominated for eviction night. I almost forgot that tomorrow night is DOUBLE EVICTION! This should be good!
Who will be evicted first tomorrow night…Meg or Julia?
