Day 78 and we are down to the final six. ‘Grandma Meg’ and ‘Cowboy James’ have just left the house. I’m pretty much pulling for Johnny Mac at this point. Austwins have been running this game, along with Vanessa. Steve is just there. Austin is scared of winning HOH this week. He doesn’t want to get blood on his hands. Six people are left…Austin is an alliance with five. He debates not going for HOH. It looks like Vanessa has convinced Austin to throw HOH. She is working her magic again.
Vanessa promises Johnny Mac she will do the dirty work. The line is being drawn in the house between Austwins and Vanessa, Johnny Mac and Steve. The funny thing is Austwins have no idea it’s happening. Steve starts preaching to the camera about Austwins’ terrible move to keep Johnny Mac in the game.
It is time to crown a new HOH. It is a baseball themed competition. They watch a rapid selection of Big Brother baseball cards and have to decide which HG is missing from the group and build a puzzle of their face. The last player standing will be HOH. I’m hoping for a Johnny Mac or Steve win. Austwins needs to be broken up. Steve is the first one to make it through round 1. Julia, Johnny Mac and Austin advance while Vanessa is the first one out. Round 2 is the end of the road for Austin. It’s up to Julia to keep Austwins safe this week. Steve and Johnny Mac are the final two. Bad news for Austwins. Steve wins HOH due to Johnny Mac throwing it and the end. I hope he stays loyal to Johnny Mac and Vanessa. I really hope Steve makes a huge move.
Steve and Vanessa silently celebrate. Vanessa goes to the other side and puts doubt in the twins about Steve’s intentions. Steve is doing the same with Austin, telling him that he is at the bottom of the ‘Scamper Squad’ totem pole. Austin is ok with losing Julia, and keeping Liz safe. Austin/Steve seem to secure a deal for next week. I don’t think Steve is going to fall for it. The twins suspect maybe Austin has some deal with Steve. I did just realize that Austin has never been nominated. Interesting.
We visit Steve’s HOH room. It is funny watching the twins suck up to Steve in the HOH room. Vanessa tells Steve his best move is to put up Austin/Liz and leave Julia off. Vanessa has a very valid point. Steve is having a conversation with the twins about Sigmund Freud and it’s hilarious. We then get to listen to the twins discuss how bad of a kisser Austin is. Cool.
Steve/Johnny Mac discuss the plan for the week. Steve still seems a little undecided about what to do. I would think Austin/Liz is the most logical choice. Steve wants to warn Austin of his plan to possibly nominate him this week, since they have been working together for a while in the game. Austin realizes he is at a point in the game where he must look out for himself. Steve promises Austin that he is not his target. Steve might be telling the truth…for now.
It is time for the Nomination Ceremony. I have a feeling I know who is going up this week. I’m predicting Austin and Liz. I was correct and Austin and Liz sit next to each other on the nomination block. Steve gives a very genuine speech and Liz is very upset and leaves the ceremony early. It will be a very interesting POV ceremony by the fact that everybody is going to play. The lines have been drawn in the house. The Scamper Squad is officially over.
