Danish actor Pilou Asbæk, who starred in the Scarlett Johansson action film Lucy, has reportedly joined the cast of Game of Thrones in a major villain role for season six.

Sources told GOT fansite Watchers On The Wall that Asbæk was seen filming in Ballintoy Harbour, Northern Ireland, playing the role of Euron Greyjoy. During the scene crowds were cheering for Euron.

Asbæk is a rising star in Hollywood, as he’s also playing Pontius Pilate in the new production of Ben-Hur. He also starred as Paolo Orsini in The Borgias and was on the hit Danish show Borgen.

GOT’s sixth season will also feature Deadwood’s Ian McShane in an unknown role. Max Von Sydow is also voicing the Three-Eyed Raven.

The season of the show, which is based on George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books, will likely debut next spring. Martin recently said he thinks HBO will actually finish GOT before he completes the last two books in his series.
