The Walking Dead’s sixth season is about to kick off soon, so AMC is gearing up to promote the most-watched scripted show on cable. The network has released a new poster for the season and promoted three stars to series regular status.
Tovah Feldshuh, Alexandra Breckenridge and Austin Nichols have all been promoted, notes The Hollywood Reporter. All three actors star as Alexandria residents, with Feldshuh playing Deanna Monroe, the leader of Alexandria. Breckenridge stars as Jessie Anderson, while Nichols plays Spencer Monroe.
Lennie James, who plays Morgan, has also been upped to regular status.
The rest of the regulars on the series include Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Michael Cudlitz, Sonequa Martin-Green, Alanna Masterson, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt, Ross Marquand and Seth Gilliam. Phew, that’s a lot of people who could potentially be eaten by zombies.
AMC also released a new piece of key art, which merely features the show’s abbreviated title and Rick (Lincoln) looking a bit angry in the letters.
The new season of TWD kicks off on Oct. 11.
