Entertainment Tonight reported the Fulton County Medical Examiner received the results of the autopsy on Friday and a reason for the results being sealed was so authorities handling an investigation into what happened the night of January 31 could look over the findings.

The only people who have been informed about Brown’s cause of death are the Roswell Police Department and District Attorney for Fulton County. The Superior Court in Fulton County issued an Order for the results to be sealed.

Brown passed away on July 26, six months after she was found face down in her bathtub.

Her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, is a suspect in an investigation into what happened that led to Brown's brain damage. He is also in the middle of a lawsuit brought on by her family.

The lawsuit has an accusation of wrongful death, claiming that Brown was beaten by Gordon after a “cocaine and drinking binge” that lead to “a toxic cocktail” that left Brown unconscious before being placed in the water. Gordon has filed a motion to dismiss the suit.

Recently, Brown's father, Bobby Brown, revealed that in honor of his daughter’s memory, he was in the process of creating a center that would go toward helping victims in domestic violence situations, CNN reported.
