In the age of streaming services like Netflix, it seems that no show ever truly dies anymore. Now the possibility of a Malcolm in the Middle reboot is being floated, and at least two of the main cast members are in.

Bryan Cranston recently told Entertainment Tonight (via Digital Spy) that he'd be interested in playing Hal from Malcolm in the Middle once again.

"It's been 10 years since we went off the air and it'd be fun to pick up that guy's clothes again and be fun and sweet and adorable and hapless and clueless and afraid of everything," Cranston said.

Just a few days ago, Frankie Muniz floated the idea of a Malcolm in the Middle sequel series on Twitter, saying that he was "just gaging interest." When it was first mentioned, it seemed like Cranston would be the actor most difficult to get back on board given how much his career has taken off since the series ended. However, with Cranston willing to return, it sounds like this could actually happen.

Malcolm in the Middle aired on Fox from 2000 to 2006. It's currently available for streaming on Netflix, and so that's probably the most likely destination for any sort of reboot. Netflix is no stranger to bringing back classic sitcoms, as they're currently working on a Full House sequel series to air next year.
