Chris Brown had planned on taking his tour to Australia but the Australian government issued a warning to Brown that he might not be allowed a visa because of his past criminal charges for the incident involving Rihanna.
AP acquired a statement from Australian Immigration Minister Peter Dutton. He explained that the department issued Brown a notice "with intention to consider refusal." Within the notice it explains that the R&B singer will have 28 days to present evidence to the department on why he should be allowed to enter the country.
As previously reported, a few days ago, Immigration Minister Michaelia Cash expressed outrage over the fact that Brown could be allowed in the country. "People need to understand if you are going to commit domestic violence and then you want to travel around the world, there are going to be countries that say to you: 'You cannot come in because you are not of the character we expect in Australia,'"expressed Cash.
Australia would not be the first country to not allow Brown to tour. Britain, Canada and New Zealand all blocked visas for Brown.
