Chris Evans has one of the busy schedule. Evans just wrapped shooting Marvel's upcoming Civil War and also found time to make his directorial debut with Before We Go. While promoting his latest film, Evans opened up about what it was like to sit in the directors chair and why leaving Marvel is a "terrifying" thought.

Evans is currently under contract with Marvel for six movies and Civil War makes his fifth time appearing as Captain America. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Evan elaborated on his relationship with Marvel and his Avengers co-stars.

"It's almost terrifying to think about these being done. It always feels so good to kind of wrap and just say, 'Alright, one more down.' But it's also kind of like high school in a sense. You keep looking to when you're going to be done, and we're almost done now, and you're not quite ready for it to be over," said Evans.

The Before We Go star added that he really enjoys taking what he learned in front of the camera and putting that towards directing. "I really enjoy [directing]. I'm kind of excited to take the knowledge I acquired during this process and apply it to the next one."

Before We Go is in limited release today and available on VOD. The movie has already made over $1.5 million from VOD sales alone, Deadline reported.

Captain America: Civil War will be released on May 6, 2016.
